The Framing has Begun

The structure of the first floor of the house is now being assembled. This is a view from the rear right corner looking through the house toward the front. The opening for the sliding door off the kitchen nook can be seen in the left of this image along with the bottom edge of what will be the back of the great room just to the right of the opening.

Again looking from the rear right corner of the house toward the front, the rear wall of what will be the great room is visible as well as the support structure for the fireplace that is protruding from this rear wall. The window opening on the back wall of the study (next to the great room) is also able to be seen in this view. 

This view is from the front of the house. The opening on the left is for the window in the living room and next to it is the opening for the front door.
