We named the design the Mercer. We are writing this blog mainly as a way to keep family and friends informed of how things are going. However it's also a way for us to chronicle this important step in our lives. So voilà a blog was born.

The Foundation Walls...in Progress
The forms are all filled with cement and have been left to cure.
The tops of the walls are covered with what looks like insulating blankets. We really have the beginnings of a house now.
